Pasiphaé Sofa

Pasiphaé Sofa

Whimsical universe

With its curves of dreamy cow, this sofa-sculpture was named Pasipha in a mischievous nod to the wooden cow imagined by Daedalus to hide Pasipha and allow her to unite with a bull. Thus was born the Minotaur with a bull's head and a man's body.
This work illustrates wonderfully the whimsical and inspired universe of Hubert le Gall. The designer has developed refined affinities between materials, mixing the sensuality of gilded bronze and the seventies spirit of the motifs to express the strange seduction of an imaginary bestiary.
