The Egyptian exhibition of Germany

In the Hôtel de Beauharnais (German Embassy), under the direction of Benjamin Mouton, the Maison Phelippeau realized and installed in the former throne room renamed "Salon Egypti" the wall hangings in fault 15/16 and the curtains classic crossed with incrustation of chopped velvet bands and application of silk fringes.

Under-curtains, glazing curtains and a silk-fiber wall hangings and a cabled trimmings were also put in place.

This restoration was made possible thanks to the researches of the historians of At Ulrich Leben and Jorg Ebeling with the help of the late Xavier Brunet, upholsterer who worked at the Embassy.
